Exact is a private equity backed company headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and Vancouver, British Columbia with team members across North America. This position will be Remote.

About this Position

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to join a world-class team during an exciting time of growth. You’ll apply your sales development expertise to inbound and outbound leads with exceptional follow-up. It will be your responsibility to generate and convert leads to exceed sales pipeline and bookings targets each and every quarter.

As a SDR, you are the first point of contact for Exact Payments’ sales program. You'll generate demand, interest, and excitement for our solutions while partnering to create a steady pipeline of business with your counterparts on the Account Executive team. You will identify and source prospects using sales tools, your own market research, and leadership direction.

You will be a key contributor on a GTM team committed to achieving our revenue targets in the fast-paced payments market. Opportunities are endless to have an impact, refine your sales skills, and expand your horizons across the business landscape as we scale and grow!

What you will be doing:

  • Educate & qualify marketing-driven leads to create sales-ready opportunities
  • Master the ability to evangelize the Exact Payments story
  • Align Exact Payments solutions with prospect business objectives & needs
  • Collaborate with sales reps to schedule prospect calls, meetings and demos
  • Proactively keep abreast of our industry and the technology landscape to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers
  • Acquire key prospect data from the initial conversation, from the web and other sources, and ensure clean and accurate data is entered and maintained in CRM
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified appointments/demos scheduled and deals closed

We'd love to hear from you if you are a:

  • Creative and assertive communication skills.
  • Open to feedback and development.
  • 2 + years of proven sales experience in a B2B environment selling technology solutions is preferred.
  • Consistently meet/exceed meeting and pipeline quotas within specified time frames.
  • Experience selling software products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex enterprise software solutions and use of that knowledge to sell to academic institutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any related field is preferred, but not needed.
  • Working knowledge of Hubspot or similar CRM.
